Meet the Boss

Hector Alvarez
Hi, I was born and raised in Chicago IL and have been painting for over 25 years. I started out painting in Chicago with residential projects and built my skills one home at a time. Through hard work and dedication, I ended up having the opportunity to work alongside historians to restore Frank Loyd Wright homes. I also had the opportunity to work on homes in Chicago's prestigious Gold Coast area, where attention to detail and quality craftsmanship were especially important. After years in Chicago, I decided it was time for a change and began traveling throughout the US working on Home Depos. I met my fiance, Nicole, in 2009. In 2019 we moved to Burlington and have been painting together in Iowa for 7 years and counting. I do this work because for me, painting has never been just a job. I truly enjoy the work, the people I meet, and the satisfaction of seeing a space transfrormed. I love bringing people's paint dreams to life.
